Can a Web Clip open a specified URL in a browser app other than Safari?
You can open the URL in a specified browser app by setting the identifier of the target third-party browser app in the Third-party browser app setting of the Web Clip payload.
This feature is available on iOS 14 and later.
On versions earlier than iOS 14, you may be able to do this by using a URL scheme. Support for URL scheme and the values to set differ for each app, so check with the browser app developer.
Example: To open the BizMobile home page in Firefox: firefox://open-url?url=https://www.bizmobile.co.jp/
