I can no longer move or delete app icons on the device

The following profile items control the deletion of app icons, so check how they are configured.

  • Restrictions > Allow removing apps (supervised only)
  • Restrictions > Allow removing system apps (supervised only, iOS 11.0+)
  • Home Screen Layout (supervised only)

If Home Screen Layout is configured, icons cannot be deleted, and the icon layout cannot be changed either.
