Apple standard apps still show a cloud icon or remain grayed out after device activation

A cloud icon or a grayed-out app icon indicates that the app is not on the device and can be installed on demand, or that it is waiting to be downloaded.
The cause may be the device itself, the network, or Apple services.
Make sure there is no problem with the network, and then tap the app to download it.
