App installation is currently not allowed on devices. How can I allow it?

Installing apps on a device requires signing in with an Apple ID, so allow the following items in the Restrictions payload of the profile.

• Allow installing apps
• Allow installing apps from the App Store (supervised only, iOS 9.0+)
• Allow automatic app downloads (supervised only, iOS 9.0+)
• Allow modifying account settings (supervised only, iOS 7.0+)

To allow app installation only on specific devices, you must use separate templates. Follow these steps.

1. Copy the current template and profile
2. Register the above settings in the copied profile
3. Register the profile from step 2) in the copied template
4. Assign the template from step 3) to the required devices
