How do I get the console log of an iOS device?

To get the console log of an iOS device, follow these steps.

  1. Connect the iOS device to a Mac and trust the computer.
  2. Start Apple Configurator on the Mac.
    → The devices connected to the Mac are displayed.
  3. Double-click the device connected to the Mac.
  4. Click Console in the menu on the left.
    → The current log is displayed.
  5. On the iOS device, perform the operation you want to log.
  6. Click the Save button at the bottom right of the screen to save the log.
